The death toll remains steady at 375.
Ten people remain in local hospitals with the virus.
Niagara has eight confirmed cases of the variant first found in the United Kingdom.
An additional 288 cases remain under investigation after variants were detected.
The region has 523 active cases and 25 active outbreaks.
Ontario has 2,336 new cases, and fourteen more deaths.
Health Minister Christine Elliott has confirmed 727 new cases in Toronto, 434 in Peel, 229 in York Region. 194 in Durham, 144 in Ottawa and 123 in Hamilton.
