Niagara has twelve confirmed cases of the variant initially uncovered in the United Kingdom, and an additional 337 cases are being investigated after variants were detected.
The region has 31 active outbreaks and 799 active cases.
Welland has 197 active cases, followed by 165 in St. Catharines and 128 in Niagara Falls.
The province is reporting 3065 new cases of COVID-19 and 8 deaths today.
There are 955 new cases in Toronto, 561 in Peel, 320 in York Region, and 165 in Ottawa.
