Visitors and staff will need to be double-dosed by December 12th.
GM Canada employees and visitors have just under two months to receive both COVID-19 shots.
In a statement, the automaker said as of December 12th, all personnel will need to be fully immunized.
"We are joining many other companies, from multiple sectors, supporting public-health initiatives to increase vaccination rates and further reduce the impact of COVID-19 across Canada. Vaccination has been shown to be effective in reducing the transmission of the virus as well as reducing the health impacts if a vaccinated person does contract the virus."
The company says exemptions and accommodations for unvaccinated people will be evaluated on an individual basis.
GM Canada production plants include the engine plant in St. Catharines.
