The Ministry of Labour is investigating the warehouse shut down last week because of an outbreak of COVID-19.
CTV News reporting the Brampton warehouse is under investigation for possible labour violations.
The facility was closed last Friday and thousands of workers were ordered to self isolate for two weeks.
The warehouse which employs around 5,000 workers has been linked to more than 600 cases.
Amazon Canada says workers will be paid during their quarantine, but it disputes the data being used to support the plant closure.
