Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kieran Moore to give details at 1:00
According to the Canadian Press, the Ford Government will debut a new policy requiring employers in education and some healthcare settings to develop strict COVID-19 vaccination rules for their staff.
CP says the premier's cabinet approved the plan last night.
A senior government source with knowledge of the decision says Doctor Kieran Moore's directive will not make vaccinations mandatory, but those who decline the shots will be tested regularly for the virus.
Sources told the Toronto Star on the weekend, no one is at risk of losing their job.
