A day of activities planned including entertainment
The 10th annual Heater's Heroes Run for Children is set for Saturday in Niagara Falls.
It's a day long event featuring live performances from 12 pm to 10 pm at Oakes Park.
Entertainment includes Ashley Gallardi and the Madhatters.
The annual charity event is in honour of the late Robert "Heater" Lavelle who throughout his life was dedicated to helping local children in need.
Since his passing, Niagara Falls Councillor Mike Strange decided to continue his legacy founding Heater’s Heroes in 2011.
