U.S Border officials seize $2 million dollars worth of weed.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials announcing the seizure of 1,070 pounds of marijuana at the Lewiston Cargo Facility at the Queenston Lewiston Bridge.
Inspectors selected a shipment that supposedly contained cardboard for an additional examination and a canine search alerted officials to 973 vacuum sealed packages of pot.
Acting Buffalo Port Director Gaetano Cordone says "Their efforts have again led to another impressive seizure, keeping dangerous narcotics out of our communities."
