Education Minister Stephen Lecce tweeted that parents will have more answers on Wednesday regarding when kids are headed back.
He says that the province wants kids back in class, but that is dependent on the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health.
"We want all students in all regions back to class.
The Chief Medical Officer of Health confirmed to Premier Doug Ford & I that on Wednesday he will finalize his advice."
The province had planned to resume in-person classes in hot spots on February 10th, but that was not a guarantee.
At a press conference earlier today, he said that additional safety measures will include increased asymptomatic testing and mandatory masking for students in grades one - three.
