High school students have until April 30th to apply for a pair of scholarships.
Applications for two local scholarships are now open.
High school students in Niagara Falls are invited to apply for two scholarships presented by the Niagara Falls Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee.
Students eligible for the Jim Mitchinson Scholarship must have an average grade of at least 75 percent and demonstrate leadership and involvement in their community or school.
One or two deserving students will get up to $2,000 this year.
As well, the Niagara Peninsula Energy Incorporated Scholarship is looking to award $1,000 to one or two students who maintain an average grade of 75 percent while volunteering for their community or school.
Students can apply for both scholarships with one application, but can only be selected to win once.
Applications will be accepted here until April 30th.
