Police have arrested a St. Catharines man, the rocks were thrown at moving vehicles
Drivers in Niagara can breathe a bit easier knowing a man has been arrested in relation to rocks being thrown at vehicles from overpasses.
Police say this happened between June and August, when rocks were thrown from the side of the road or overpasses.
It happened on Highway 406 between Westchester and Fourth Avenue in St. Catharines, the QEW near Mountain Road in Niagara Falls, and Highway 58 near Pine Street in Thorold.
Police say 48-year old Ammar Al-Zubaidi of St. Catharines is charged with 9 counts of mischief endangering life.
He remains behind bars, with an appearance in court tomorrow in St. Catharines.
