Police say an occupant was assaulted in the May 1st break and enter
Some good news from police, an arrest made in a violent home invasion in Grimsby.
Police say it was back on Friday, May 1st, at around 3:30 in the morning, when they were called to the home, only to find some suspects had already taken off.
They say an occupant was assaulted and suffered minor injuries.
Yesterday, along with the help of Peel regional police, the NRP arrested 23-year old Jahsyah Thomas of Brampton, laying 7 charges:
- Disguise with Intent
- Break and Enter Commit
- Possession of a Weapon
- Assault with a Weapon
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Pointing a Firearm
- Uttering Threats
He had a bail hearing yesterday.
