Families can have baby pictures or names added at Marotta Family hospital for donation
A wall has been transformed in the baby unit of the Marotta Family hospital, no doubt leaving visitors gushing.
Niagara Health Foundation President Andrea Scott says they've just unveiled a baby wall, for families to have baby pictures put up, or a name, for a donation to the hospital.
She adds a name can be added to a tree leaf. "So we've got lots of room to expand with more trees if we need to, for a $200 donation you can put your baby's name on the tree. For a $500 donation you can put a picture of your baby on one of the apples on the tree."
She says the installations of names or pictures are permanent.
"We're hopeful that this announcement will make more people aware of it, and realize it's there, you can see it in the unit. Whether you're the new parent, grandparents, friends, supporters, hopefully it'll inspire people to give."
She adds it's completely up to the family, understanding some prefer more privacy.
