Police add a 41-year old woman is in hospital in serious but stable condition
A 70-year old Beamsville man has been charged with attempted murder following a fight in Grimsby.
Police were called early Saturday afternoon to reports of a fight between two men in front of a house near Central and Lynnwood Avenues.
When they got there, police say they found a 41-year old woman with serious stab wounds. She remains in hospital in serious, but stable condition.
Police add the fight between the two men was due to a good Samaritan who heard the attack, and came to help the victim. The victim and the suspect, who was taken into custody at the scene, know each other.
Allan Timko had a bail hearing in Hamilton today, and remains in custody.
If you know anything about this attack and fight, call police.
