Authorities found them in the Ottawa river
A tragic end to the search for two Royal Canadian Air Force members.
Authorities say the bodies of two crew members involved in a helicopter crash have been pulled from the Ottawa River.
The Department of National Defence says the bodies were found last night, hours after the helicopter crashed during a training exercise.
Four members of the 450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron were on the aircraft when it crashed into the Ottawa River just after midnight on Tuesday in Petawawa.
The other two members were rescued yesterday morning, and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The Royal Canadian Air Force's Directorate of Flight Safety is investigating the cause of the collision.
