Police believe Brenda LeBlanc was murdered
An extensive investigation by police to determine what happened to a woman, who's body was found in a Niagara Falls home, that was torn down.
It all began in November of 2023, when the body was found as the house at 7081 Stanley Avenue was coming down.
Police say it was rented from the late 70s to 2018, since then abandoned and unlawfully used by homeless people.
In 2025, police learned the woman was Brenda Marie LeBlanc, born in 1963, her body likely at the house since the mid 90s, and, she was murdered.
Police have determined she lived in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines during the 90s, while in her 30s, originally from New Brunswick.
Police don't know how she got to the house, or connection to it, the owners of the property have been cooperative.
