A heartbreaking end in the search of a missing Welland woman.
Around 10:15 AM on Friday, investigators located a body in the Welland River near the intersection of Prince Charles Drive and Colbeck Drive.
The deceased has been identified as 65 year old Maria Jagiello, who was reported missing on February 28th.
Foul play is not suspected, and no further information is being released to the public.
