Erika Casupanan makes Survivor history
Reason to celebrate today in Niagara.
Niagara Falls native Erika Casupanan has become the first Canadian to win Survivor.
At the final tribal council Erika received seven votes to win and Deshawn got one, from Danny.
Xander didn’t get a single vote.
Erika, a St. Paul High School graduate, who works as a communications manager in Toronto told host Jeff Probst the turning point in the game was spending time on Exile Island alone, where she had to face her biggest fears.
