Brock University continues to study COVID-19 from a kid's perspective.
When it comes to school, most kids wanted to go back, saying they miss their friends.
But, the research also finds many of these kids are also scared of getting the virus, and possibly bringing it home to their families.
Professor of Child and Youth Studies Rebecca Raby has been leading the study which launched in April.
They have been following 30 children and youths and interviewing them about their experiences and fears during the pandemic.
Children across Niagara are heading back to school this week, whether its in-person, online or a mix of both.
