A familiar voice to Blue Jays fans will be stepping away from the broadcast booth.
Buck Martinez announcing yesterday he has been diagnosed with cancer.
Martinez telling fans that the game against the Oakland Athletics will be his last for a little while as he begins treatment.
The 73 year old hopes to be back behind the mic later this season.
The former player began his on air career in 1987 as a colour commentator for Jays games on TSN.
