Jeff Burch says residents are concerned about service reduction at the centre
Niagara Centre MPP Jeff Burch is holding a town hall tomorrow to discuss the Port Colborne Urgent Care Centre.
Earlier this year, Niagara Health reduced the hours at the facility, which now runs from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
It previously ran on a 24/7 basis.
"People in the community are very, very concerned about the reduction in hours there," Burch says. "It was supposed to be a temporary reduction, but there's no plan to restore those hours."
"In Niagara South, it's an aging population, which is also growing," he adds.
The event will take place tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion branch on Clarence St. W.
