But experts say it's not enough, yet.
More than 79 percent of eligible Canadians have received at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine.
But the CBC reports that means around 6 million people who are 12 years of age or older have yet to get a jab.
And experts agree, in order for us to avoid a fourth wave of the virus, we have to increase those vaccination numbers.
The federal government's own modelling shows if vaccine coverage remains around 80 percent across all age groups, hospital capacity could reach dangerous levels this fall and winter with the delta variant the dominant strain.
Meantime, Niagara Public Health tweeting out this weekend, "Let's #GetVaxxed Niagara! We have lots of 1st and 2nd dose appointments available at our upcoming clinics."
