A reminder to dog owners in Niagara Falls.
Canada Post is asking people who own dogs not to open the door during deliveries or allow pets to approach their employees while they're out and about.
It's difficult for delivery agents to know how any animal will react when they approach your home to drop off the mail.
Incidents can range from encounters with threatening dogs to being attacked and bitten.
You're advised to keep your dog in another room when deliveries arrive, and make sure your pets are restrained or behind a closed gate when outside.
