All three of Canada's main political party leaders made stops in Ontario today.
Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole was in Ottawa for the second day in a row, saying a Conservative government would prevent company executives from giving themselves bonuses while restructuring, unless they have a fully funded pension plan.
In Hamilton, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau promised new measures to help home buyers if re-elected.
The measures would include doubling the first-time home buyers tax credit from $5,000 to $10,000 and creating a first home savings account to allow Canadians aged 40 and under to save $40,000 towards their first home and withdraw it tax-free when it's time to buy.
Meanwhile, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh was in Mississauga today, where he vowed to create national standards for long-term care homes if elected into office.
Singh also says the NDP would ban the opening of any for-profit seniors homes.
