Women interested in entering municipal politics, can now apply to be a part of a new mentorship program.
Seat at the Table is a partnership with the City of St. Catharines and the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce.
Six women will be chosen to shadow three City Councillors; Lori Littleton, Karrie Porter and Dawn Dodge.
They will learn more about council processes, electoral politics and community issues. The program will also include monthly workshops.
Each participant will receive a $200 honorarium and additional support for transportation and childcare costs.
