Today is the deadline for license your pet for 2021 in the City of Thorold.
The City says that owners who don't purchase a pet license face a $100 fine.
They warn that lost pets who have license tags are much more likely to be returned to their owners.
Thorold dog owners are required to get a license for them every year.
