Union says strike deadline may be extended.
Negotiations will continue today between the College Employer Council and the union representing faculty.
This comes one day before a threatened strike by professors and other college staff is scheduled to start.
The Ontario Public Service Employees Union says if real progress is made on issues such as workload amounts, the strike deadline could be extended past Friday.
Niagara College President Sean Fraser released a statement, saying the past two years have been stressful for the college community, and the added element of uncertainty has been stressful for students.
