Main closed between Ferry and Peer in Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati advising this morning "Emergency sewer lateral repair taking place on Main Street this morning. Main Street will he closed from Ferry to Peer for 10-12 hours beginning at 7AM. Emergency access only."
Meantime, homeowners and businesses on Drummond Road between Thorold Stone and Gallinger won’t have water for most of the day
The city advises crews will be working on the watermain in the area and the water will be off between 9 am and 2 pm.
Meantime in Fort Erie, the town tweeting out crews have closed Maple Ave between Ridgewood Ave and East Dead End for a water service repair.
Crews are expected to be on site making repairs until approximately 4 pm today.
