A school in Welland has a case of COVID-19.
One person at Welland Centennial Secondary School has tested positive for the virus.
Students and staff members who had close contact with the person have been advised by Niagara Region Public Health to self-isolate at home.
The school will be visited by a Public Health Nurse and a Public Health Inspector.
In addition, the premises will receive a thorough cleaning by custodians.
