Province's top doctor to provide update at 2pm
Ontario's COVID-19 case counts continue to rise with more than 1,400 new infections reported today.
That's the highest single-day total since late May.

Premier Doug Ford is said to be considering some new measures to help slow the rise of COVID-19 cases.
Of the new 1,453 cases today, 613 involve those who are unvaccinated, 26 involve individuals who are partially immunized, 718 are in fully vaccinated people and 96 have an unknown vaccination status.
