Of the people in the hospital with COVID-19 in Ontario, 163 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 13 are fully vaccinated.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 531 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 557,451.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says 75 of today's cases are in fully vaccinated people, and the rest are in individuals who are unvaccinated or whose status isn't known.
Due to a data clean-up, 15 of the 17 deaths being reported today occurred more than two months ago and the total now sits at 9,448. Another 338 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 543,760.
The province completed 26,213 tests yesterday. We currently have 176 COVID-19 patients in the hospital in Ontario. Of the people in the hospital, 163 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 13 are fully vaccinated.
