The union says hiring more full-time workers is a main issue
If you normally rely on GO Transit bus service, you'll have to wait another day as drivers and some support staff continue their strike.
They walked off the job yesterday.
The union says Metrolinx did not put forward a proposal Sunday that addressed key bargaining concerns, including a commitment to hire more full-time workers and protections against contracting work to outside companies.
Metrolinx, the transit operator, says the union tabled new issues in weekend negotiations that couldn't be addressed before Monday's strike deadline.
