Ontario's top doctor to make announcement
The province's chief medical officer of health is expected to announce plans to expand eligibility for COVID-19 booster shots at an afternoon news conference.
There are reports Doctor Kieran Moore will lower the eligibility age from 70 to 50.
Earlier this week, Moore said the province was reviewing its plan for third vaccine doses in light of the Omicron variant.
