Premier Doug Ford has confirmed the extension of discounted peak hydro rates.
The rates were originally set to expire tomorrow.
While the Premier confirmed the rates will continue for now, there is no word on how long those rates will be extended for.
The province has been giving a discounted off-peak rate of 8.5 cents per kilowatt hour 24/7 during the stay at home orders.
The rates, which will show up on your next bill, are for tiered and time of use customers.
Clients will not need to apply for anything, as the rates are automatically applied to the bills of all residential, farm and small business customers who are paying regulated rates.
