BIA being recognized by the province for special events and promotions.
The Downtown Niagara Falls BIA has been given a prestigious award by the Ontario Business Improvement Area Association.
At the 2022 awards gala in Niagara Falls, which started April 24th and ends on the 27th, the Downtown Niagara Falls BIA received the Special Events + Promotions - Large Award.
The award was received for the Downtown Niagara Falls Christmas Market.
"We are honoured to be receiving this esteemed award," said Downtown Niagara Falls Chairman of the Board, Ron Charbonneau. "We were very excited to hear that the hard work and efforts that went into this event by our BIA was recognized by the judges. Our BIA like many others have spent a lot of time in creating a memorable event for our entire community which is why we are so grateful for this award."
The 2021 Christmas Market had over 50 different vendors, as well as live music and light displays.
