Over $11,000 in hydromorphone and fentanyl found
Two Niagara Falls residents are charged after another drug bust by police.
Last month the NRP started looking into the trafficking of drugs out of a home on Buchanan Avenue in the falls, and when they searched it last night, they found:
- 334 Hydromorphone Tablets (street value of $6680)
- 52.5 grams Fentanyl (street value of $5250)
- $3651 Canadian Currency
- $444 US Currency
- 2 expandable metal batons
Police arrested 43-year old Catharines Van Bergen and 32-year old Tyler Cormier at the house, charging them both with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Hydromorphone)
- Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime under $5000
He was also charged with not complying with a release order.
Both remain in custody with a bail hearing today.
