More strikes are coming to elementary schools in the District School Board of Niagara.
Public elementary school teachers across Ontario will be on the picket lines on Thursday.
The District School Board of Niagara will be hit with a rotating, one-day strike on Friday as well.
After three days of negotiations, the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario and the province failed to reach a deal before the union-imposed Friday deadline.
The union has escalated to Phase 5 job action.
High schools in the DSBN will not be affected by the ETFO strike.
