Calling all food entrepreneurs!
A virtual event is being held to connect leaders in the food and beverage industry with those looking to start their own businesses.
On March 31st, the St. Catharines Enterprise Centre, the Niagara Falls Small Business Enterprise Centre, and Venture Niagara will bring in local food and beverage industry leaders for "Table Talk."
"Table Talk is a first bite for aspiring and newly operating food entrepreneurs who are building their ideas into businesses. This event will highlight key considerations from established professionals and industry regulators, so they can improve their odds of business success," said SCEC Small Business Consultant Rob Belchior.
The free virtual event will feature experts discussing topics such as labelling and packaging, inspection requirements, Ministry incentives and regulations and more.
The keynote presentation will be delivered by Dana Mcauley, CEO of the Canadian Food Innovation Network.
Local perspectives will be offered by the owners of Fiesta Empanada, The Bagel Oven, Incoho, and The Grove, and Tiffany Mayer of Eating Niagara will host a local stories panel.
