Niagara Health has declared a facility-wide COVID-19 outbreak for Greater Niagara General Hospital.
Three healthcare workers have tested positive in the ICU and this is the fifth inpatient unit of the hospital to report multiple cases of the virus.
Seventy-three staff members and 59 patients have tested positive so far.
Ten patients have died and 21 people are currently being treated for the virus in the hospital.
The Emergency Department remains open at this time.
