24 year old driver killed
A tragic accident last night on the QEW in Hamilton.
OPP were called to the scene of a three vehicle collision near Centennial Parkway just before 7 p.m.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says a 24 year old woman from Stoney Creek who was involved in a minor collision, was killed when she got out of her car to speak to another driver involved in the fender bender and was struck by a third vehicle that tried to swerve to avoid the crash scene.
Schmidt says the snow was falling and road conditions were poor, which played a factor in the crash.
