A St. Catharines man has been charged with impaired driving causing death after crashing into a building.
It happened around noon yesterday, at the intersection of Niagara and Maple streets.
Police say the driver lost control and crashed into a business, hitting a 59-year-old Hamilton woman inside.
The woman was taken to hospital, where she later died.
Thirty-year-old Jamie Burns was arrested and faces a total of four charges related to the crash.
Police continue to investigate.
