President Biden says he is nearing a decision on a gas tax holiday, putting a pause on federal gas taxes.
That could drop the price by about 18.3 cents a gallon.
Biden telling reporters he hopes to make a decision by the end of the week.
New York, Florida, Georgia and Connecticut have already implemented gas tax holidays in order to give summer travellers a break from gas prices that have inched past $5.00 a gallon.
