The number is staggering when it comes to food bank usage across Canada.
A new report from Food Banks Canada says the number of people using them was at an all time high earlier this year, nearly 1.5 million visits last March.

That figure is 15% higher than the number of visits in the same month last year and 35 per cent higher than visits in March of 2019, before the pandemic came along.
