Some areas across Ontario will be able to enter stage two of reopening this Friday.
But Premier Doug Ford says Niagara, Hamilton, Toronto and Haldimand-Norfolk need just a little more time.
“We will continue talking with local officials who are playing a critical role in determining what areas can reopen. I am confident that the rest of the province will get to stage two very soon.”
Stage two includes the reopening of hair salons, restaurant patios, public pools and shopping malls.
The Ford Government will also allow public gatherings of up to 10 people this Friday, no matter where you live in the province.
Ford says his government will also allow places of worship to re-open.
“During these uncertain times, our faith has never been more important. That’s why I’ve asked that places of worship across the province be able to reopen as of June the 12th at 12:01 a.m. at 30 percent building capacity.”
