Officials not saying what announcement entails
Premier Doug Ford who has been noticeably absent from the podium the last few weeks, will be back today headlining a government media conference.
Ford will be joined by Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, Solicitor General Sylvia Jones, and Dr. David Williams, Chief Medical Officer of Health, to make an announcement this afternoon at noon.
No word on what the announcement is about, although we have been waiting to hear if the province will extend the lockdown beyond May 20th.
Meantime, Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, will make an announcement about support for tourism and travel small businesses at 10:30 this morning.
