Charges stem from four year investigation
Niagara Regional Police say they began the investigation in 2017 after receiving a complaint from a female victim under the age of 16.
Police say detectives determined the suspect, who was working as a taxi driver, would transport children under the age of 16 to and from school.
The offences are believed to have taken place between April and May of 2016.
54 year old Jamie Woods of St. Catharines is charged with multiple counts of sexual assault with a weapon, sexual assault, sexual interference and exposing genitals to a minor.
Police have reason to believe there may be more victims.
Anyone who may have more information about this investigation or Woods are being asked to give them a call at 905-688-4111.
