Greg Bailey instrumental in turning WFOL into premiere event
Greg Bailey has passed away at the age of 69 after a 30 year battle with Parkinson's.
Greg started his career as a helicopter pilot before going to the University of Guelph in 1990 and then taking on the role as manager of the newly formed Winter Festival of Lights shortly after graduation.
Under his leadership the festival formed a partnership with Disney and became famous for it's televised New Year's Eve concerts in Queen Victoria Park.
Visitation for Greg will be held at Morse & Son Funeral Home on Main Street in Niagara Falls today from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
A private celebration of life will be held at the funeral home tomorrow.
