The town of Fort Erie is asking residents to verify that their homes, sheds, cars and other property accesses are locked when not in use.
Since February the NRP have received more than 20 reports of break-ins to residential property.
The break-ins are happening in the Central Avenue area between Bertie Street and Gilmore Road during both the day and night.
Businesses and residents are being asked to routinely check surveillance cameras and report suspicious activity to the police.
