He says he's going back home to Greece to visit family, wondered if winning actually happened
Fantastic news for a Fort Erie man.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Georgios Avramopoulos has won $1-million thanks to Maxmillions, from the December 30th draw.
The business owner says this is his first major win, and when he checked his ticket, he asked "Is this real?"
He plans to head home to Greece to see family, maybe stay a while, tour some areas, he's always wanted to see Egypt.
The winning ticket was bought at Garrison Mart in Fort Erie.
