Fort Erie is off to the races for the season.
The 123rd season is now underway at the Fort Erie Race Track, but without any crowds in the stands.
The racing season will have 39 days of events, including Mondays and Tuesdays until October 13th.
Post time will be 1:20 p.m. on both days and fans can watch through live streaming.
More than $2-million was wagered for opening day, marking the second-best wagering day for the border oval.
That’s up more than 70 per cent over 2019.
