There will be no Canada Day fireworks in Fort Erie this year.
But the town is going to live stream several Canada Day celebrations on its Facebook page.
Canada Day Niagara Way will begin at 11:00 a.m.
It’s a local live-stream hosted by the Region, local municipalities and the Niagara Parks Commission.
It’s going to include musical performances and online activities for families at home.
The national celebration, Canada Day Across the Country, will begin at 1:00 p.m.
It’s going to celebrate Canada’s diversity and highlight the 40th anniversary of our national anthem Oh Canada.
Fort Erie will also live stream Fun Facts about Canada Day at 2:00 p.m, a Tik Tok Dance Party at 3:00 p.m, and a Trivia Show at 4:00 p.m.
Another national live stream, Canada Day Together, will begin at 8:00 p.m.
It’s going to include musical performances from across the country and virtual Canada Day fireworks.
